Before choosing 'Jack and Jill' I had 10 lessons with a local instructor. He made me feel really uncomfortable and I learnt nothing. This completely put me off going for any more driving lessons for about a year.
Then my partner phoned up 'Jack and Jill' and arranged my first lesson. When he told me what he had done I couldn't believe it! When I looked out the window and the car was there my nerves went into overdrive as I reflected on my previous instructor.
I got in the car and met my instructor Paul. He was such a nice genuine bloke and as the lesson went on my worries were soon forgot. I learnt more in that first lesson than I ever learnt in the entire 10 I'd taken with the previous instructor.
Paul explained things in a way that I understood, showing me diagrams to help to explain them better and I felt that I learnt so quickly. And I'll never forget the impersonations of engine noises as he explained things to me ha ha! When I made a mistake he never made me feel stupid and instead we just laughed about it.
Today I flew through my driving test with 2 MINORS! The test woman said it was a 'cracking drive' and it's all thanks to Paul my instructor! I'd definitely recommend him to anyone, especially the very nervous ones like I was! Thanks

Over the last 12 years I have had several instructors, none of which I have clicked with and none of which I ever really thought could help me pass my driving test - That is until I contacted Paul at Jack and Jill. Paul was the very best instructor I had come across, he was professional, patient and consistent with his lessons. Without me realising, my skills were advancing faster than I had imagined possible. Above all Paul gave me massive support in all areas of my driving, including the theory test (of which I was really nervous) but perhaps most of all he gave me confidence to drive to the best of my ability, in the end I passed first time with two minors - that speaks for itself. I cannot praise Paul enough for his time and effort with me and will recommend him highly to anyone thinking of taking lessons, the only bad thing I can say is that I will really miss my driving lessons with Paul on a Saturday afternoon - Thank you so much !!

This was the second time i had tried to learn how to drive and the first time was a nightmare as i felt the instructor i had before was not as professional as he could have been and this left me feeling aprehensive about learning to drive. However this time my circumstances dictated i needed to learn how to drive pretty quickly and get through my test in the space of roughly 10 weeks, therefore the choice of the right instructor was absolutely cruical. I spoke to a couple of driving instructors about taking lessons, and when i spoke to Paul we had a lengthy discussion about the challenges of learning how to drive and i decided to go with Paul.
To be honest i found it quite difficult learning but Paul helped me overcome all the hurdles and fears involved with learning how to drive. When I learned Paul picked up on practically ever error i was making but the crucial thing was instead of being overly critical, there was an explantion and lots of good sound advice on how to avoid repeating my errors, and this is where i really did learn how to drive, and meant that when it came to my test i was more than prepared for everything that came, and the excellent standard of tution i recieved meant that i managed to pass first time, and for that i'm very grateful.
All in all i really enjoyed my time learning with Paul, it was not easy learning at times but he set me on the right track, and we also enjoyed some good banter, so if you looking for a driving instructor who will get you driving safely, properly and get you through your test then this is the man you are looking for.
